Waltzing Mouse Tag It Challenge

Here is my entry for the Tag It challenge.....the base is Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangles (three layers). The bottom layer is cut from a sample book of wallpapers and this one is like gold sprayed hessian....wish I had it on my walls....the second layer is glossy bright red and the last layer is a sort of stardream type of card.
The little red 'trumpet' thingies are made from satin ribbon - a sort of boat shape glued and rolled to form the shape - more lace ruffled down the side and a little fan of lace to cover the mechanics of the 'trumpets'....a couple of red glossy hearts to sort of balance the tag and then some more on the lace fan...just to make the sentiment more meaningful...and then some bling....apologies for the photo - as you know I'm not so good at that.

  4. This is just awesome! At first I thought it all was made out of fabric and the effect is so wonderful.
Thanks for your wonderful comment and We do hope here in Latvia that one day all our 'children' will come back home (well at least most of them), including my husband, which I get to see about once in three months now as he is driving all the time to Germany and Italy.
And yes, I do consider myself as some sort of pioneer when it comes to cardmaking here in Latvia, so I try to show everyone what's there is in the world and learn it myself :)

  9. Yes, a huntsman is a big, BIG spider - about as big as your fist in circumference (including the legs), although not as fat. The body part is only as big as a pound coin, or a 50 cent piece Australian. The worse part about them is the skitter across a ceiling and then drop onto the floor, the furniture....or you. I have had several encounters - once I was washing my hair in the shower and there was suddenly one there - fear is amazing, it freezes things. Both myself and the spider were frozen when my mother responded to my screams and came to remove it!The only good thing about them is that they are not venomous, although a bite can be nasty as they have a dirty mouth, like a dog bite. Not all huntsmen are big - some are about half that size and are a creamy colour rather than brown but this sucker the other day was a huntsman.
