Taking a Break

Hello those of you who 'follow' me......I know I am not a great blogger - I just don't have a lot of time especially at the moment.
I am moving my craft room and have to decorate two rooms so I think it best I tell you all that I am taking a prolonged break to complete the work. My craft stuff is all packed away but still have to honour my calligraphy customers...i.e. the Gallery I work for. So have a little corner of the living room set up to do calligraphy.
Take care everyone....I will be back - sometime!

  3. Thank you so much for the kind comment you left on my blog. I understand about having to take a break. I did the same thing over the last year. I had two grandbabies born in one year plus I moved my craft room too! What a job both things involved. lol. I am ready to get back into my craft room now that things have settled down. I hope you are able to return soon.

  6. Oh, reorganizing is quite stressful but quite fun also :) Take all the time you need to enjoy the process...

Thank you so much Joyce for stopping by the cottage and saying a nice 'Hello'. Come back when you have time and we'll have a nice cup of tea.

    Blessings to you,

  7. Hi Joyce, many thanks for your most welcome comment. Delighted to make your acquaintance. I would have replied by email but couldn't find it on your blog. I really did love Shaz's photos - have got to agree with you that Sharon is such a pretty name it is a shame to shorten it to Shaz - Killymoon just looks so romantically beautiful. I lived in Omagh for two years way back in the 60s and loved my time there. I'm sure I visited Cookstown on one occasion whilst there. In fact, I was sad to leave such a great little town. You're right, it isn't such a distance between Ayr and Larne and we do intend taking a trip over though nothing is fixed, but when it is I'll be sure to let you know. I've joined as a follower but I do note that you are taking a break at the moment. Hope the redecorating is well on its way, if not finished by now. Oh, and before I forget, I think your storage idea with the pizza boxes is genius and one I'll be replicating :) Thanks again for contacting me. Elizabeth

PS: It has been raining here all afternoon :(

  8. Hi Joyce :) thank you very much for visiting my blog with your kind words :) It was lovely to meet another crafter who also loves The Lord :)
your Calligraphy is beautiful, you a very talented, a gift from God definitely :)
I got the cuttlebug extender plates for the papertrey dies which are helpful (need to use them more ... LOL ) and yes PTI is very expensive :( not fair. There is a new lady from England who has opened a new stamp company called Clearly besotted stamps and WOW!! they stamp to perfection. She is also hoping to do the matching dies, I highly recommend her stamps, think I have 4 or 5 sets already .. LOL stamping is addictive (a good addiction)
I thoroughly enjoy my blogging as I cant work through illness and crafting is fantastic for me for passing time and I basically love creating, especially card making. also love to do a little sewing and love felt and I do some jewellery making too (ear-rings and bracelets)
I hope you too have a blessed Christmas and new year and thank you so much to take the time to leave me a lovely message :) x

  9. Hi Joyce,

Thanks for the lovely comment. I am always so thrilled to see Northern Irish bloggers, just feels very exciting to me. I know it's hard to get time on the blog but I'll follow you anyway to see when you next get the time to post.

I wrote the text in two takes, started last night, got too tired went to bed, then picked it up again today when D and Little R were out visiting friends. I wrote a PhD a few years ago and developed the typing skills then I think! But your comment about typing made me laugh, I think I am slightly nuts to be fair!

Thanks again and Happy new Year to you!

    Helen xx
