Easter Blossoms....like snow on the ground....

My friend Bernie called last evening and she hadn't been up our avenue when the cherry blossoms were blowing around in the light breeze, almost like snow....and the covering of pink all over the ground never fails to be something beautiful....just thought I'd let you see her photo, one of many which she took as she left me.

  1. This is so beautiful! It reminds me so much of when Anna was born and the cherry blossom trees outside the hospital window - a lovely time! J x

  2. Gorgeous picture and a street unlike anything I have seen across the pond (I guess I watch far too much East Enders). It looks like it could even be my street... in several more weeks! Thanks for sharing the spring inspiration!

  4. Hi Joyce,

Love your photo of the cherry blossoms - one of my favourite trees. We have them on the nature strips here where I live - but they are bare now that it's almost winter. I always look forward to when they start flowering as I know that spring is finally here!

Thanks for stopping by my Blog and for your lovely comments about my photos. I note that you are from Ireland. I am currently researching my Irish family history which has been a real challenge but I am getting there slowly as more records are becoming available. My descendants come from The Parish of Galloon, County Fermanagh.

I see from your Blog that you are lady of many talents! Love the freestyle embroidery! God bless you Joyce :-)

  5. Thanks for your message Joyce - no need to publish this - but oh, what a small world! If your DH has come across any surnames like Adams, Armstrong or Clingen, they could possibly be distantly related! One day I will go to Ireland and re-trace my ancestor's footsteps - that would be an amazing thing to do. {{hugs}} and blessings - Jocelyn
